Ebel

Eugéne and Alice Blum, nee Lévy, founded the watch brand name Ebel in 1911. They called their company after combining both of their names in the well known university city of La Chaux-de-Fonds: Eugéne Blum Et Lévy gave the name Ebel. Apart from the sporty chronographs Ebel is especially well known for its, soft feminine models that are advertised for by famous faces. The German top model Claudia Schiffer was as an ambassador. In 2004 Ebel was sold to the international firm Movado Group.
