Cartier

The luxury brand name of Cartier was founded in 1847 by Louis Cartier. Since then the offer of products from this company which is rich in traditions, has been consequently expanded: today under the brand name of Cartier apart from jewellery and watches, leather goods, perfumes, silk scarves, sun glasses and writing implements are also on offer. It does not matter in what type of goods: Cartier always dedicates itself to the absolute and luxury insisting on outstanding quality. This is also reflected in watches made by Cartier. One of the innovations of the company is the first waterproof wristwatch, which was made especially for the Sultan of Marrakesh. The model Pasha C pays tribute to this design, as well as the legendary Santos von Cartier, which was designed for the flight pioneer Alberto Santos Dumont. Because of its products, the brand name of Cartier fits perfectly in the brand portfolio of the Richemont Group, to which it has belonged since 1993.
