Baume & Mercier

The roots of the Marke Baume & Mercier Company were made in the year of 1830, as the Baume Family founded a small specialist company in the west of Switzerland. In the year of 1918 the Geneva jeweller Paul Mercier joined the company - from then on the company changed its name to Baume & Mercier. The company had great success during the heyday of the wristwatch, and was especially famous for its sporty chronograph models. They are still a leader of luxury wristwatch brands today. Meanwhile Baume & Mercier are part of the portfolio of the Swiss luxury company of Richemont.

The most notable wristwatches from Baume & Mercier are the Linien Capeland and Hampton.
